Los planes de Dios (God's plans) is an offering with some of the reliefs I use for my pains. They are the photographs that I would save if I set my house on fire. They are the poisoned medicines that I would throw at the healthy ones as revenge.
José Andrés López
Together with his company Viviseccionados, José Andrés López has premiered the pieces Oymyakon, Pax Tecum, 4'2, Ofelia Forever, Fauces and La patética historia de Niño Piña ( The pathetic story of Niño Piña ) in five acts, a co-production of Carme Teatre. His latest creation, Las palabras de la carne (The words of flesh) , by Factoría Echegaray, has been postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 crisis. The creator is currently working on the project God's plans for the Autumn Festival, a piece selected as part of the Confines initiative.
His shows have been selected for various national and international festivals and he has won awards such as the Young Creators Award in Madrid, the Teatro Autor Exprés SGAE Award and the Escènia Public Award.
The artist has published his works with the publishing house Ediciones Invasoras and with Fundación SGAE. He has also written pieces for other companies, including Ser (To be), Cinco lobitos (Five little wolves ) and En la furia ( In the fury) , for Carme Teatre; and Alexandra, llévame pronto (Alexandra, take me soon ), for ETC Cuarta Pared.
